Support Groups

La Leche League of Hiawatha/Brown County

La Leche League’s mission is to help mothers worldwide to breastfeed through mother-to-mother support, encouragement, information, and education, and to promote a better understanding of breastfeeding as an important element in the healthy development of the baby and mother. Volunteer leaders are available for questions and home visits. We have a lending library, available to anyone, that covers many subjects about breastfeeding, healthy eating and lifestyle, working mothers, discipline, fathers, sleep, and much more.

We meet once a month, with the location changing, depending on hostess.

You can join La Leche League USA for $40, with most of the money staying with our local group; however, it is in no way required. Donations are always welcome.
